Sing me this song

A finished sketch. I wasn't planning on finishing or posting it, but since I had nothing to do, I decided it was good to add a bit of colour to it.
That here bird is pretty weird, some sort of mix between a heron and a cocatrix.
The wings were meant to look broken, boneless like that, and I omitted the reflection on the water on purpose. Also, the things on its back is a basket, and the thing above her head is a net made of souls she caught.

She, because she is a female, can sing a song no other can evven try to mimic. It is said only pure hearts can hear it. However, if someone was to hear it twice, their heart would shatter like crystal and their soul would get caught by the creature. The bird, was, in fact, the daughter of the devil himself. She was born from his and the most beautiful heron's love. The devil hadn't expected her little daughter to be so kind and loving with him : every once in a while, she would deliver him a basket full of souls.
One notable thing about her was that not only had she inherited the musical talent of her father and his honesty, but everything she did seemed to play a note. When the started flapping her wings, the sound it made was similar to that of someone rubbing their finger on the rim of a crystal glass.
